Warning: The firmware hosted on this website is no longer supported by Intel and from a 3rd party site. Updating firmware such as the BIOS can brick your device! Use at your own risk.

Note: Incremental BIOS updates are needed
Example: If you are on BIOS version 01.02.0006, you must update to 01.03.0002 first, then 01.06.0001, and so on.

Step 1: Check your current BIOS version by entering the BIOS setup during boot (usually by pressing F2 or Del) and looking for the BIOS version information.
You should see something like "SE5C600.86B.01.02.0003.022820121335" where "01.02.0003" is the BIOS version.

Step 2: Download the appropriate firmware update package from the Downloads section above.

Step 3: Extract the downloaded package to a USB flash drive formatted with FAT32.

Step 4: Insert the USB flash drive into the server and reboot.

Step 5: During the boot process, press the appropriate key (F2 or F6) to enter the BIOS setup or boot menu.

Step 6: Choose the Internal EFI boot option.

Step 7: The shell will load and automatically start the firmware update process. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
If the update process does not start automatically, enter the command "map -r", look for your USB drive (e.g., fs0:), and then type "fs0:" to select it.
Enter "startup.nsh" to run the update script.

Step 8: After the update is complete, remove the USB drive and reboot the server.
Let the server boot into the BIOS setup again to verify that the BIOS version has been updated successfully.

After a successful update, repeat the process until you reach the desired BIOS version.
